Precautions and Health Warnings

  • Make sure you play in a room with sufficient light to avoid eyestrain.
  • Before starting to play, take the time to check that no objects or obstacles are in your field of play, and that there is no risk of collision or injury caused by your immediate physical environment.
  • Remember to take regular breaks when you find yourself for too long in the immersive environment of the game
  • Stop playing if you experience dizziness, vertigo, nausea with or without vomiting or headaches or fatigue.

Potential Side Effects

  • Immersion in 3D, because of the game itself and of its 3D and real time environment, can cause an alteration or even a momentary loss of visual-spatial reality, and it therefore presents a risk of collision and/or injury with your immediate physical environment.
  • Note that some people without known history of epilepsy may experience epileptic seizures when facing certain types of high light stimuli: quick succession of images or repetition of appearance/disappearance of simple geometric figures. These people, along with those with proven epilepsy, are at risk of convulsions when watching animated images such as television screens, or when playing some games such as video games.
  • If you have epilepsy or if you have any of the following symptoms when you play: blurred vision, abnormal muscle contractions, involuntary movements, momentary loss of consciousness, disorientation and/or convulsions, consult your doctor before using the game in any way.
